Our 6-step process ensures secure transactions and guaranteed payments for sellers. Here's exactly how it works:

Create Your Listing

Sellers start by submitting a listing with event information.

  • Select the event
  • Set your ticket price
  • Enter buyer's email (Michigan Athletics email for UMich tickets)

Submit Your Tickets

Transfer your ticket to us to verify it.

  • Go to appropriate ticket transfer page (e.g., Michigan Athletics for UMich)
  • Input our information (Firstname: Safe, Lastname: Transaction, email: safetransactiontix@gmail) and transfer the ticket.
  • Our system automatically verifies ticket authenticity.
  • If anything goes wrong in the process we'll send the ticket back to you. If that's not possible we will supply the ticket price

Buyer Makes Payment

Once ticket is verified, we'll email the buyer a payment link.

  • Ticket is verified and an email with a payment link is sent to the buyer.
  • Buyer has to pay within 1 hour to avoid seller waiting for a while without ownership of their ticket.
  • If full payment is not submitted within an hour, the ticket is sent back to the seller and we no longer accept payment.

Automatic Delivery

Once payment is confirmed, tickets are automatically delivered to the buyer.

  • Buyer receives the original ticket email with all attachments
  • Transaction security maintained throughout the process
  • Buyer can access mobile tickets or PDFs within an hour

Seller Gets Paid & Buyer Gets Their Ticket

Once buyer submits payment, seller will be paid plus a 10% bonus on SafeTransaction.

  • Seller receives price of ticket plus 10% to their balance located in the homepage.
  • Seller can choose to withdraw funds from SafeTransaction account and money is sent through the available options.
  • Ticket is transferred to the buyer's account (e.g., Michigan Athletics for UMich)
  • At any point after this until 24 hours after the start of the event, the buyer or seller can submit a complaint if a scam has occured.

Dispute Resolution (If Needed)

Our platform made to prevent any possible scam from occurring. In the off chance that this happens, follow this procedure. The goal is for the impacted user to be fully compensated.

  • File a complaint from the homepage or send an email to safetransactiontix@gmail.com with the Subject Line: Filing a Dispute
  • We will email both parties and request specific proof from each based on the case.
  • We will be impartial in our decision.
  • In the unlikely scenario that funds or a ticket are proven to have been taken through a scam and can't be recovered, we will provide repayment in the form of the price of the ticket and the fraudulent user will be banned from our platform.

How much does Safe Transaction cost for sellers?
Safe Transaction is completely free for sellers - you actually earn an extra 10% bonus on successful sales. There are no listing fees, no hidden charges, and no deductions from your ticket price.
What if my tickets are rejected during verification?
If tickets don't pass verification, you'll be notified when failed with the specific reason. We will send the ticket back to the origin seller. The listing will be cancelled but you can submit another listing with the correct ticket.
How long does the verification process take?
Most tickets will be verified within an hour. If you don't receive a result of the verification that would be shown in the homepage, email us and we'll return the ticket back to you.
What happens if the buyer doesn't pay?
If payment isn't received by the deadline (1 hour after ticket verification), the transaction automatically cancels. We will send the ticket back to you and you can create a new listing immediately. There's no penalty for unpaid transactions.
Can I cancel a transaction after creating it?
Once you send the ticket to us, unfortunately you can't cancel it as the buyer is able to purchase the ticket at that point. However, if you sent the wrong ticket it will be automatically returned. If you would like to cancel the transaction, inform the buyer so that they won't pay before the deadline. The transaction will then be cancelled and the ticket sent back to you.
